Abstract
The application of the Preisach model in measurements and field computations is presented. A measurement setup is configured that allows the direct identification of the Preisach distribution function. The technological aspects of the measurement are discussed. An implementation of the model in 2D finite elements software is performed. The results of the computations are compared with the experiments
