Abstract :
Two temperature fixed points, (H2O and Ar) were developed to be used under magnetic fields. They serve as ideal tools to investigate the magnetic field dependence of temperature sensors. The sensors studied are Cernox™, a platinum resistance thermometer, and a thermistor. The magnetic field effect on Cernox was found to be not larger than 5 mK under 15 T at the triple point of water. The applicability of Kohler´s rule was evaluated by a PRT and was found to be valid within 3%. The magnetic field effect on the thermistor studied was found to be 15 mK at 15 T.
