Abstract :
A new non-destructive testing (NDT) method which utilizes rotational magnetic flux is presented. In this system, the magnitude and phase value are measured and used to obtain information about defects. These values include the information about the shape or position of an unknown defect. The neural network technique is employed for estimation of a defect shape. The experimental results show the validity of the authors´ method
