Abstract
Laser emission from NdAl3 (BO3 )4 crystals of various thickness with directly applied laser mirrors was investigated on a polarization-dependent basis and time-resolved spectra were recorded. CW monomode operation with an output power of 5 mW was attained. Though NAB (NdAl3 (BO3 )4 should be electrooptic (space group
