Abstract :
Direct measurements of pressure dependence of the magnetization are made in Mn2-xCrxSb intermetallic compounds in a temperature range between 4.2 K and 200 K under various hydrostatic pressures up to 1 GPa. The magnetization in the low temperature antiferromagnetic state increases and a new magnetic phase which has an intermediate magnetization is attained at 0.5 GPa. The magnetization in the high temperature ferrimagnetic state decreases monotonically with pressure. The ferrimagnetic to antiferromagnetic phase transition temperature decreases with pressure
