Abstract
Using a numerical approach to solve the differential equations of Block wall dynamics, the magnetic skin effect in Metglas 2605 SC amorphous ribbons is studied. Results give the ratio between the wall oscillation amplitude at the surface and in the center of the ribbon vs. magnetizing frequency, using the wall surface energy density as a parameter. These results show that the Block wall magnetic skin effect is stronger than the classical one related to magnetization rotations. Finally, the phase shift between the surface and the bulk oscillations of the wall is calculated and compared with experimental results
