  • Abstract
    We have obtained the good superconducting performance in Y-123 tapes made by Ion-Beam-Assisted Deposition (IBAD) and Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) method. In this paper, we describe recent progresses of long Y-123 conductor by IBAD/PLD process using reel to reel systems. Ic of 88 A was obtained in end to end of a 217 m long one. Furthermore, we developed the conduction cooled HTS test solenoid coil using 100 m-Y123 conductors. The results of coil operating tests are described.
