Abstract
For pt.I, see ibid., vol. 28, p.2374-6 (1992). The authors report on a continued investigation of particle dispersion characterization using magnetic measurement techniques. A fully automated vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) was used to measure the reverse demagnetization remanence curves of a wet metal particle dispersion as a function of dispersion milling time. Theoretical interpretation of the data using a Brownian motion relaxation mechanism indicates that increases in milling time significantly reduce the mean size of the particle aggregates
