  • Abstract
    The authors report that the mechanism of the capping effect observed in magnetooptic recording (MR) in magnetic super double-layer disks and magnetic super resolution (MSR) MO recording has been studied by means of an analytic calculation. Quantitative estimation of the field enhancement is presented as well as a comparison with experimental results. Implications of the present result are discussed
