Abstract :
We apply the Zeeman ring laser theory to the case of four-mode operation in an inhomogeneously broadened medium in the Doppler limit. The coupling parameters between the four laser modes are studied quantitatively. Reductions to the standing wave laser and the scalar ring laser cases are made. The case of operation in a homogeneously broadened medium is also treated.
