Abstract :
This paper discusses the full course of benefits offered by the IEEE Carleton University Student Branch to all students attending this institution of higher learning in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. That approach serves as a way to gain new members and to retain current members. The member learns from the technical content of the events that the institution holds, they get a chance to network with fellow engineering students, professors, and industry representatives.
