Abstract :
Teresa Dahlberg experienced two monumental firsts in August of 2013: she relocated to New York City, and she took on her largest academic leadership responsibility yet, as dean of the Albert Nerken School of Engineering at The Cooper Union. But while the job and the city were new, she brought with her over 25 years of experience in engineering education and research as well as a long history of inspiring students to increase their participation with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, particularly in computer science and engineering.
