Abstract
For the original article see ibid., vol.25, no.11, p.706-7 (1989). Owing to the Hermitian symmetry of the Wigner kernel, H.H. Eilouti and L.M. Khadra proposed a fast algorithm to compute the discrete Wigner distribution (DWD) by an N/2-point FFT. However, the commenter points out that the last half part of the DWD is not equal to zero as claimed by the authors. He goes on to show how this may be calculated.
