  • Abstract
    The analytical derivation of the required precision for the analogue-to-digital converter in discrete multitone transceivers is presented. The obtained closed-form expression, that includes all relevant system parameters, directly relates the required ADC resolution with the maximum allowed number of bits allocated to the DMT subchannels
