Abstract :
Airplane flutter interference is picture disturbance in television reception caused by signals reflected off passing airplanes. Through indoor testing, the relationship between physical factors affecting airplane flutter and its subjective evaluation was analyzed. The factors necessary for flutter measurement as well as its range of influence are discussed. A method that was developed for measuring the physical amount of flutter is described. The method was confirmed through tests made near an airport using prototype test equipment discussed
