Abstract :
The treatment of a boundary between different media to simulate an electromagnetic (EM) field is examined using the constrained interpolation profile (CIP) method. Consideration of the way of handling spatial derivatives of fields is very important for CIP-EM field analysis. We demonstrate a method of handling this boundary and report results of CIP-EM field analysis using the present approach
