Abstract :
A novel concept of insulative magnetic brush (IMB) development which exhibits excellent reproduction of solid-area images while maintaining an IMB line image reproduction capability is discussed. The process is based on a simulation of the profile of the electric field in the development zone, the behaviour of toner in the development gap, and the balance of charges in the developer in a two-component magnetic brush development system
