  • Abstract
    Dual pulses each with different peak wavelengths and durations as short as 2 ps were concurrently produced with an actively mode-locked erbium-doped fibre ring laser made in part with birefringent polarisation-maintaining fibre. Peak wavelength separations measured in the experiment agreed well with the theoretical values.
