Abstract :
Electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), and electrostatic discharge (ESD) are complex problems, involving many interactive mechanisms. In this book published for the first time more than 10 years ago, the author has drawn from experience a set of troubleshooting routines and fixes that avoid reinventing the wheel at each occurrence of an EMC related failure, whether it occurs during product development or in the field. The result is a simple guide, laid out in the general structure of a checklist that provides substantial assistance.
