Abstract
Semiconductor laser injection locking behavior has been studied theoretically. Numerical analysis is carried out for various practical injection locking schemes, such as the spectral control of directly modulated laser diodes, the locking amplifier for FM signals, the FM noise suppression of self-excited diode laser oscillators, and the detuned injection light induced modulations in laser diodes.
