Abstract :
A mathematical model is proposed to investigate electromagnetic fields induced by the motion of conductive sea water in the wake of a moving body. An exact solution is obtained for the induced field. The results show that undersea mobile vehicles can generate measurable fields. The frequency-domain solution and its unique properties are also derived
