Abstract :
Some novel windows are introduced. A comparison of these and the well-known windows in terms of their frequency domain properties is given. It is concluded that Kaiser, modified Kaiser, Tukey, and three-coefficient window families appear to be the best of the known windows of 6, 12, and 18 dB/oct decay rates.
