  • Abstract
    Following up from the recent work of Maluckov (IEEE Trans. Plasma Sci., vol. 31, p. 1344, 2003), Maluckov (IEEE Trans. Plasma Sci., vol. 34, p. 2, 2006), we derive explicit expressions for the probability density function, cumulative distribution function, and the means of the electrical breakdown time delay (tD). We provide a five-line computer program for computing the associated percentile points and hence the associated confidence intervals. Finally, an illustration of these results is provided by using some data Maluckov (IEEE Trans. Plasma Sci., vol. 31, p. 1344, 2003)
