Abstract :
Transformed Chebyshev polynomials may be used in the design of FIR digital filters to obtain transfer characteristics with equiripple behavior in both the passband and stopband. A new form of transformed Chebyshev polynomial (TCP) filter is introduced in this correspondence and results presented for the required TCP filter length to meet a given specification.
