Hum in All-Electric Radio Receivers

This paper presents the results of some further work in the field of all-electric receivers, directed particularly toward the design of receivers and power-supply systems requiring a minimum of apparatus and providing a maximum of hum eliminating action. It includes the enumeration of the causes of hum, the analysis and measurement of hum, and methods of its elimination.
