Abstract
The author presents a reply to the paper by Zhu and Leung (IEEE Trans. Signal Processing, vol.42, no.3, p.2183, 1994) which commented on the paper by Marvasti and Liu (IEEE Trans. Acoust. Speech Signal Processing, vol.38, no.6, p.1061-3, 1990). The present author discusses a typographical error in the paper by Marvasti and Liu. It is concluded that the theorem proofs are still correct and the conclusion still valid
