Abstract
Adaptive echo cancelers are used to allow full duplex data transmission on two-wire circuits. Analyses so far have assumed that both the transmitted data and the received signal consisted of independent samples. In this contribution the steady state performance is analyzed when both the data and the received signal have arbitrary correlations. Computer simulation results are presented to confirm the analytical results.
