Abstract :
The authors describes a novel DC-DC converter that integrates a Cuk converter and a buck converter to deliver uninterruptible DC output power. This converter has the desirable features of a simple circuit and high efficiency compared with a standalone uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The circuit operation and analysis of the converter, together with experimental results from a prototype circuit, are presented
