  • Abstract
    We review the basic criteria for effective and efficient injection locking of high-power excimer lasers, and enumerate the various parameters of practical concern for experimental implementation. Various injection schemes are compared and the fundamental limitations of the process are covered. Corroborative experimental results are also reviewed, and applications made possible by injection locking are discussed.
