Abstract :
Fourier reconstruction technique is found to be applicable to the design of circularly symmetric two-dimensional (2-D) FIR digital filters. The algorithm is simple, straightforward, and practical. An even size (2n × 2n) filter can also be designed easily. Comparisons are presented between the Fourier reconstruction method and other algorithms.
