Abstract :
We report a record 720-ns continuously tunable optical delay of a 10-Gb/s intensity-modulated optical signal, using a two-pump parametric process. Error-free performance is achieved over the entire 7200-bit delay range. The input and output wavelengths were identical, as is required for most applications.
