Abstract :
The focus of this article is the maintenance of value in the working population. Technology offers new ways to increase the opportunity for quaternary (post-tertiary) learning and to allow it to adequately match the learner´s needs. It offers a challenge to academics and experts to allow their knowledge to be made move widely available and for institutions to broaden the scope of their services. Almost certainly we shall see new entrepreneurial activity developing as the many sources of knowledge need new ways for it to be packaged and consolidated for individuals, communities or regions
