Abstract
An analysis method for metal-clad optical waveguide polarizers, which is based on the equivalent current theory of optical waveguide couplings, is presented. This theory is used to analyze the metal-clad optical waveguide polarizers and obtain analytic formulas, which have not been obtained before. The results of the theory are nearly coincident with that of numerical calculation and experiments
