Abstract :
In the above-mentioned paper it was shown how two-dimensional convolutions of arrays of size μn by μn could be calculated by means of number theoretic transforms of length n by n. Some improvements can be made in this algorithm in the sense that the number of general multiplications can be reduced. Systematic techniques to accomplish this reduction are presented in this comment.
