Abstract :
A new binary sorter based on a majority gate is presented. The proposed sorter requires fewer gates than the conventional implementation by using comparison-swap elements only. Simulations have been carried out to test the circuit tolerance. For variations in channel width and length of less than 10%, the sorter can still output the correct results over a temperature range of 0-76°C
