Abstract :
Using the concept of virtual permittivity, a closed form dispersion model for a shielded microstrip line is proposed for 0.6⩽w/h1⩽10, h2/h1⩾2, 1.05⩽εr1⩽20 and f.h⩽4.0 GHz·cm. The model has RMS deviation within 1% as compared with that obtained using spectral domain analysis
