Abstract :
This text present an architecture proposal of protection of a PWR nuclear plant, it describes plant operation, as well as it defines protection system. Some of the main inherent definitions to systems protection are show and the system operation is explained in a global form. The architecture proposed for the protection system can be used as project base.
