Abstract :
This paper presents an improved error model for data acquisition systems that can be changed by the adjustment of a few parameters. An automatic procedure is proposed to estimate model parameters and analyze parametric sensitivity. By analyzing both the harmonic level and frequency decay, the model allows accurate reproduction of the first five harmonics. The paper initially describes preliminary simulations and goes on to describe a test that applies real data to an actual data acquisition system
