Abstract :
Analysis of a waveguide coupler coupled through a wide inclined slot in the common narrow wall of a rectangular waveguide for high power applications is presented. A simplified technique to find the internal scattered magnetic field due to this wide inclined slot has been used. Both variational method and method of moments using entire domain basis functions and Galerkin´s technique have been used in finding out the S parameters of the four port coupler. The experimental results have shown good agreement with the corresponding theoretical results
