Abstract :
The trend toward oil-less electric power apparatus makes it desirable to put outdoor epoxy resin modeled apparatus into practical use as early as possible. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to develop an apparatus with high reliability. A description is given of results of research activities to improve the resin compound, the examination of the transformers used outdoors for more than 15 years, and the outdoor demonstration test to confirm long-time reliability of the molded apparatus
