Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze fixed-point errors in the normalized circular lattice algorithm for multivariate autoregressive system identification, based on the method of Samson and Reddy [4]. Using the results of this analysis, we modify the normalized circular lattice algorithm so as not to yield the bias in the estimated PARCOR coefficients, and justify the modification by computer simulations.
