Abstract :
The problem of microcomputer-based digital control of naturally commutated cycloconverters operating with frequency-wild input voltage waveform is discussed. The hardware modification, using a frequency multiplier, based on cosine wave crossing pulse timing control, is proposed. A computer simulation was made for preliminary testing of the proposed method
