Abstract :
Considers the use of software tools in higher education, with particular reference to those developed at Teeside Polytechnic. The experience of using these tools with a large number of undergraduates is presented, and an outline of the projected extension into a computer-aided learning system is given. The particular facilities that are important when moving towards an educational integrated project support environment (IPSE) are discussed
