  • Abstract
    In "Notes on Bit Allocation in the Time and Frequency Domains" [1], Gibson presents a historical survey of previous work on bit allocation in the time and frequency domains. In this comment, we would like to mention the relationship of the idea involved in our paper [2] to earlier papers on this subject and our research history concerning it.
