Abstract
A rigorous analysis of an aperture-coupled microstrip antenna fed from a perpendicular microstrip line has been developed. A hybrid spectral/space-domain method is used, along with a general reciprocity formulation, to model the perpendicular microstrip feeding. Experimental results for a prototype model are compared with computed results, showing good agreements.<>
