Abstract :
The Government and industry are now recognising the strategic importance of further education for the future well-being of the country. The one area where UK education is ahead of that in Europe is in the use of information technology. Here, the author argues that if further education is to take maximum advantage of corporate status from April 1993, it will be essential to use IT to enhance the learning experience and to provide accurate management information
