  • Abstract
    A comparative analysis of different dynamic channel allocation (DCA) schemes for ongoing calls in a UTRA time division duplex (TDD) system is presented. The proposed study shows that DCA results in a reduction of up to 2.2 dB transmission power as well as a packet loss reduction up to 20% compared to a fixed channel allocation scheme.
