  • Abstract
This correspondence describes a very simple two-term nonlinear recursion (due to Teager) that can be used to efficiently generate a sequence of equally spaced values of the Gaussian function A \\exp (-at * t) . An extension of the method reduces the computation required to only two multiplications per point.
