  • Abstract
    We review here some magnetooptical investigations performed in HgTe-CdTe superlattices. The data are interpreted from band structure calculations done in the envelope function formalism. These investigations yield interesting information on the interface valence band offset, which is a very important parameter in any kind of semiconductor heterostructure, and on the band structure of these new superlattices which exhibit subtle features not met in usual III-V compound superlattices.
