Abstract :
To point out the limit of validity of the quasi-TEM approximation, we compare numerical results of the propagation constants calculated with this approximation and with the exact theory for various configurations. Theoretical and experimental results of the current distribution along a line are given to determine if the assumption of an exponential behavior is credible.
